I wound up putting the front plates on, as it’s now overdue for its inspection.

True, but I won’t be able to get it for a while; and I don’t need the extra hassle of being pulled over for any excuse and the cop adding something else to the ticket.

I think you’d be OK…I’ve never had a front plate on mine, it’s torrid red and I’m 21, never been questioned. Just make sure it doesn’t have any Honda badges on it anywhere and cops are fine
When I first saw a monaro front end I really wanted one. The more I see it now though the more I’m not sure. It’s cool because it’s different but I think I’ll just put money into performance mods instead.
Hey - I had to replace it anyway - so I went this route.
And I still have the Hotchkis bars to put on, so I’m not ignoring the other end…
I will need new tires soon, too.
Yeah, if I was replacing the front anyway I’d have a tough decision. I think I’d keep my hood though, just because I like the look of the Pontiac hood more. Then with a Monaro bumper and Pontiac hood it would be even more bastardized though.
i like the bumper, but dislike the hood. It has too much of a mustang/ LT1 camaro feel to it.
Jay, you wouldn’t have a hard decision to make, you’d do it factory to stay out of SM or CP
