Tow companies who tow vehicles give the owner 90 days. After the storage bill/tow fees exceed 1/2 the cars value they can pit a “storage lien” on the vehicle with dmv. After 60 days they own the vehcile if the debt isn’t payed.
Whoever towed it scrapped it where I used to work and bam, parts for my race cars and sellabke aftermarket stuff.
Tis a real shame. They used it as a fire training car and cut the roof off.
I sold the car to my roommate Jesse. His ins lapsed. Dmv canceled reg/lic. Got pulled over. Car got impounded. He couldn’t come up with the money to get it out. It then became the tow companies property. They must have donated it to the fire dept as Jeff said and chopped the roof, and it was scrapped where he used to work.
its one of those senarios of “selling your car to young kids” and they trash it,but you got paid kinda things. i figured he wouldnt destroy it lol. Nick said at least if i woulda sold it to some other young kid, they would have at least crashed it “racing” it hahaha
