Sex.
very nice
Now i have to wonder, is it the GT-500 KR?
Nope, that would have the “KR” callout next to the “G.T.500” on the rocker stripe.
Mmmm hotness.
Get more details from your dad on the car.
I wouldn’t be complaining if I saw that in my garage all the time.
Man I love the early mustangs, that thing is awesome.
Yah, if your dad owns that mustang, and you don’t even care about american cars at all, he must think he did something wrong when you where growning up.
he is probably very disappointed that you like imports. Not mad, just disappointed.
no he does not care really a car is a car and he respects the fact that i have my own style american or import he stands behind my choices and helps me if i need he isn’t a “oh well you got a honda so fuck you” kinda of dad
Your dad probably thinks you’re fuckin gay as well.
I bet he’s glad you can finally get your shit out from behind his car.
Gus

something looks off with the rim/tire combo… they look too puffy or something… are they stock wheels/replica tires?
yeah they are not stockers or anything just something he got a great deal on, again that doyle guy he knows helps him get alot of the stuff for this so he can’t complain really decents prices and a hook up in ford FTW
how much damn room do you need to get at your snowboard
um the garage was for my mother to have all her stupid flowers in and 1 winter 2 years ago we thru out boards in there and have not been able to get them since he bought said car.
those are aftermarket wheels, not the correct style for the GT-500, but i like those too.
correct aftermarket, but they go good with it i think
I approve  I’ve got the same tires, I see nothing wrong with the combo. Torq-Thrust D’s too, ugh
Is he a member of the Shelby Club? What’s the backstory on the car?
not sure he knows i go on here but he doesn’t think anyone his age would be on here so he stays off the internet he might be i will ask
back story of the car is he bought it to piss my mother off then let it sit in her garage for 2 years blocking my shit in and finally this year got around to working on it getting it done and now that its done it pisses my mother off even more cause its loud and she hates it but seemingly doesn’t mind going for rides in it.

 to your dad
Guy came into my class that had just sold a real GT350 for over 100k. He then bought a new GT500… Although old shelby> new shelby imo.
this guy parked next to us last night with a silver or grey brand new GT500E? i dunno what a GT500E is but just looking at the old design compared to the new one, you can how the redesign looks Almost as similar but smoother flowing
LOL. “Brand-new” is a relative term. The GT-500E is the infamous “Eleanor” from Gone In 60 Seconds. Unique Performance buys up clean '67 and '68 non-Shelby fastbacks, strips them, and converts them into Shelby-VIN’d 500Es. They wanted (still do) to buy my fastback.
An actual GT-500E from UP retails for around $90-$150K. The problem is that you can buy all the body parts needed to replicate one, so anybody can throw one together in their garage and sell it on eBay for damn close to that price.
It pisses me off because a clean, all original S-code 390 GT 4-sp. fastback will pull in “only” $60-$70K, while a well-done homebuilt Eleanor clone will fetch almost six-figures. Now there are '65-'66 versions as well. It’s a fad and I pray it dies and fucking soon. Don’t get me started on the brand-new Dynacorn sheet-stamping fastbacks, either
i meant the new GT500E’s that are shaped after the newer stangs
im talking about this one
lined up next to my dads 67 thats what i was talking about lol
Haha. This is what I meant.
I’m hoping the Eleanor fad dies soon too. They were cool for a bit, but doesn’t deserve to clean up all the Fastbacks out there.
TrueBlue, you did get that car for a song. You better not sell it. Make your Bullitt Resto Rod
Unique Performance does some awesome work. They even made a 69/70 looking new Mustang that was at SEMA. I can’t find pictures of it at all.
They will have a huge display at SEMA this year that I can drool over their Mustangs and Camaros again.
I like the UP car, just not the fact that they eat up good restorable FB’s in the process when they could just buy the Dynacorn shells. Don’t worry, mine is not going to be a Smellawhore clone
so you have one too eh? same thing my dad has?
he wants to make his with that hood style that car you posted has
I don’t have a Shelby. (I wish.) 1968 fastback, see profile, look in the DIY forum, etc
