i have a black one. and it was spray painted years ago by some ass up at PSU. then after i cleaned it it still was dark. so technically i prob have the darkest dare plate in PA with out a tinted cover.
its on vehicle #5 now.
funny thing is that i asked about this at the AAA office tonight. they said no one is buying them now.

nope, looks like all the specialty plates will be the same nasty color scheme. the lady at AAA said the DMV didn’t like the black because “you couldn’t tell what state it was from”
yeah PA was real original when they came out with white yellow and blue
