good luck finding DDR ram local for a old machine. i went to mac solutions and picked up a stick of ddr 1g for 48 
then online i picked up 8gb of ddr3 for 50 lol i thought when stuff got old it was cheaper
I have two 512mb sticks I just took out of my laptop to switch in to 1 gig sticks. Make me an offer
