I’d like to see you actually DJ. For some people they like this. I actually DJ and I played the game and I think its worth buying. The music and the remixes are really good and you can’t buy them on cd. I’m also glad to see they are actually doing something with DJ’s. We get no credit anymore.
I love the mixes on this, I personally would suck at this or the real thing. Probably more enjoyable for me than Guitar Hero, becuase it’s nothing like playing an actual guitar.
DJs get tons of credit even though the vast majority of you don’t even use vinyl anymore, what are you talking about? Shit, it’s easier than ever to DJ now. I have a beat ass American DJ mixer I got off my boy for free because he upgraded a long time ago. Get some cheap rack-mount CD decks and you can learn the basics of beat matching.
No stupid fucking DJ Hero deck is going to teach you shit, it’s just as bad as all the other Hero games. My boy Jay is one of the best guitar players I’ve ever witnessed in person. Try to jam out to Mars Volta. He can. What’s funny? HE SUCKS AT GUITAR HERO.
These games are for people with no desire to be good.
edit and I still knock my boys for playing CDs unless they actually produced the track. CDs are for pussies.

As for the game, its pretty sweet. A little tricky to get used to, but once that happens you can get going pretty good.
Worth the money? ehhhh I could think of alot more things I would have spent my $120 on, but hey its something I wanted. I never even tried the demo because I didnt want to ruin it. Theres nothing like coming home and opening your game up for the first time and playing it.

LOL. Plus now you can do the same thing with with a higher grade CD turntable and a vinyl one. The skill comes in when your beat matching or remixing your tracks while DJing, and you’ll knock someone for using cd’s while they DJ but won’t knock a DJ if they are using vinyl with a computer program such as serato or traktor?

tried the demo at best buy on medium difficulty. it appears i’m not really cut out for the club life, however, i’m going to take some e in with me later today and try again. will update later with results. stay tuned.

i play guitar hero with an average of a 93% notes hit on medium. i have completed a few songs on hard. i don’t typically even attempt extreme, but i have hung out and drank beers with plenty of guys who can get down on extreme. with the ease at which i’ve picked up on it so far (typically drunk and i don’t eve own the game), i see no reason that i couldn’t be able to pick up on real life guitar pretty quick. i mean it wouldn’t be overnight, but i’m sure i could do it in a few weeks. i don’t know why you guys take this shit so seriously.
