Well my car aint super fast but i dont need no heavy ass wheels to do me worse
This might be a dumb question… but if you car isn’t that fast… and its your daily driver… how much of a performance difference will lighter wheels make?

So do u think these would look good on a blue car…And another question when i look at the tire and wheels package it say the weight is 19.55 is that tire and wheel weight together
Compared to stock wheels it should be a big difference… Another reason i want light wheels is so if i get my car to run like i want it i wont have to buy a set if light wheels i will already have them
Oh and it aint a daily driver i have a beater car i drive everyday
oh… ok… but that didnt answer my question… how much of a difference could it make on your car?
going from 17’s to stock 14’s on my car feels like a big improvement, but it doesn’t make a difference at the track.
The weight difference should make a difference
it didn’t, and i have slips to prove it. heavy 17’s vs. lighter stock 14" alloys. times were less than .038 different. it definately feels quicker, but it wasn’t. results are probably different with a fast car, but you don’t have one of them either. :booty:
Haha but what u really meant to say is i dont have one yet lol … No i still would rather have light wheels though
I think the wheels that are on your neon look pretty good. :boink
:owned: by a chic!!! great job jeNn!
:bowrofl:
Greg, those wheels would look good on your car. And the 19.XX pounds would be the tires included
:wackit: Look like u need a piece suck up
dont think my wife would like that, now go back to ur hand!:wackit:
It doesn’t really make all that much of a difference for drag racing, but for autocrossing and other handling type contests it’s pretty noticable. I think GRM did a test on a BMW or something with wheels of various weights and it did make a difference if you averaged the runs out.
