no they’re not that great. what it is awesome for is a bathroom mat in front of the shower and by the door to collect water. other than that they don’t soak up water liek they say… i dunno they’re not that great

i bought one of those things at the toronto auto show about 4 years ago, they were selling 4 of the larger yellow ones and 2 blues for $20, so me and a friend split that. we each used them once and agreed they sucked. good for just spot soaking up water, but not for wiping down.

we used to get a set of the same thing as the shamwow at the fair every couple years for the same $20… they’re swell, but not a complete replacement for paper towels. it’s more of a nice dish rag that absorbs worth a shit than the end all be all.
