Bad news fellas, there is a collosal amount of heat coming from the engine bay. My EGT’s are probably skyrocketing so I have some work ahead of me. No Mighty for me and probably no Carlisle with the car either.
hey matt. i was really glad i got to hear/see the whip start…congratulations…the anticipation must have been unbearable, but nice work getting it done…take your time, find where the massive amount of heat is coming from and double check everything. your ish will be very fast ish, and very fast ish tends to multiply the explosion/failure/problem factors and chances of it happening. best of luck becoming monsterous:pimp:
There was a bubble in the coolant but that has been fixed. It’s not running lean but the base timing is off which is why (at least that’s what I think) it’s getting so hot. The EGT will tell more tomorrow.
