^ This. The vast majority of mods are illegal if you look close enough at the VAT laws.
I know a dude that works a body shop in Durham, NC. He puts together a lot of these things, he says they are HORRIBLE to drive. They handle like a rickety horse buggy.
I do agree that they shouldn’t be impounding them though. Slippery slope.
I can see why they would do this, trying to crack down to find a reasons to pull ppl over. But this is wrong on so many levels. Harrasing ppl because of what they drive.
Yeah it’s not like they don’t already stereotype and pull over sport bike riders because a select few are what we call squids.
Its more than just “squids” that have ruined it for sport bike riders.
Seems as this sort of thing has been done before…lol.
