Yeah, I have no clue. Thats the only way I did it. I tried shooting rockets into the opening of the skull on the wall but that did nothing. Can somone fill me in as to how the hell you were supposed to beat that.
lol right? I think there “might” have been a teleport to get there, but not sure. I always just used the clipping cheat lol

Weak acting and plot but the BFG was pretty cool.
Havn’t done it in a couple of years, but I’ll see if I can remember. The room itself consists of a large pool of toxic sludge with 3 large platforms on different levels. If you look in the middle the head there is a small square platform, with a rocket launcher and some rad suits around it. Problem is it’s down all the way at the start to raise it up you have do the following.
Don’t waste your rockets you’ll need those
You start on the first platform above the sludge. You need to find the portion of the next platform to lower it and work your way up. The correct portion is noted by a red pentagram over the evil head thinggy. Use that it should drop down the platform repeat this to make it to the top on the other side. Once at the top. Find the switch in the small “room” in the center.
The platform in the middle of the sludge should rise, while waiting on it to go to the top just keep running and avoid being hit. Wait until there are a lot of badguys on the screen and use the BFG to save other ammo. Once the platform reaches the top grab a rad suit and use the platform it will drop quickly. Keep running around to avoid getting hit. And just keep shooting the flying skulls “lost souls” as they can knock you off. Ride the platform up avoid anything you can by moving around a bit, get the rocketlauncher out. While it’s going up time it so that you rockets hit the “brain”. If you hit it right you should hear a loud roar(?). Jump off the platform, take a potshot at it you might be able to hit it again.
Keep repeating until it’s done. Was a TON easier when done in co-op, mainly because you can die and it won’t start over. I was thinking it took like 7 shots or something, maybe more.
EDIT: No clipping is the only way to get to the head inside.

actually… do you think doom supports broadband online play? only time I’ve ever played it multiplayer is when I used my modem and called into a friends PC that was set to recieve the call from mine (if memory serves me)
I liked it…I like bad movies though.
The only part I didnt like was the the final fight scene…
