alot of times, especially in the summer, I see the schmucks landscaping outside and I get somewhat envious.
Working in an office has it’s upsides, but it also has alot of downsides. One of my biggest pet-peeves about working in an office, opposed to working with my hands is lack of activity/exercise throughout the day.
honestly, back when I used to do manual labor, you’d get done with a long day of working your ass off… get a shower and your ready to go out and have a few beers.
with working in an office for the past 7 years, when I get out of work… I’m usually beat and ready for bed/drained of energy.
I wish CAD was more physical

I totally agree.
I will sit at my desk, and watch the janitor dude come around and vaccume the floors, and wash windows, and I wish I were him for that moment in time.
I’m more interested in the fact that the boards weren’t keeping up with the trading volume.

Happens a lot on days with heavy movement. That’s why after the bell youll see the numbers continue to move for a few minutes while everything catches up. At least its a hell of a lat faster than it used to be.
no shit…I’ve lost a grand in the last 2 days out of a diversified portfolio thats only worth $17k
oh well, i started it with 10 a year and a half ago so i suppose i cant bitch too much.

that does not seems to be well diversified…5.8 % in 2 days…
i wonder how much you got left now after the past 7days…
i sold my mutual funds worth 47k on august 6th and put it in a 6 month cd with countrywide at 5.4apy…now my question is…
what the fuck happens if countrywide goes under? i know fdic will cover deposits up to 200k…but will cover the interest too? anyone knows?
i moved because of bob blinker letter kinda suggested to pull out of stocks…but after i moved i didn’t realize that countrywide was the biggest lender in the us…so if they have a lot of bad loand it could go under…
