Hey guys, quick question about wheels. Probably a stupid question for most, but I still don’t know too much about modding so here it goes.
I have been wanting to get some crappy rims for winter for my Mazda3 and my wife saw some 01 Mitsu Eclipse wheels on sale today in someones yard. I looked into it online and saw that they have the same bolt pattern as my car (5 X 114) but the offset is 42 on the Mitsu wheels whereas the 3 has 48 offset. Will these wheels still work? How will I make them fit?

They will fit, but be pushed out an extra 6 mm (I am assuming they are the same diameter and width)

It will still look good and work. 6mm isn’t too much.
Its a no-go. The wheels were from an 01 gallant and would fit with the offset you guys mentioned, but the guy wanted 800 bucks for them and the tires that he had on them were no good for winter. I was just looking for some cheap winter wheels to throw on. Oh well. Thanks for your help though.
