Can I swap EG front upper control arms and the knuckle assembly to an EK? Will the lower control arms line up?
Basically, I have the EG (DX)shell sitting around and have an EK (CX) hatch daily driver. The EG JUST got new wheel bearings, ball joints, and skunk2 adj. upper control arms this spring, and also has the wilwood brakes…The EK has stock stuff with 185k miles on it.
I know for a fact that the rears are different so its making me think that the fronts are different also. Springs and shocks swap out but i think that’s about it.
my brain tells me the springs and shocks are the only thing the same, but it is not really functioning at full capacity this morning.
easy way to find out though. look up the skunk2 upper controls arms and it will tell you what year cars they fit. Then you’ll know if they are the same.
