Does anybody know where I can rent a engine hoist? Or does anyone have one that I could borrow?

seen brand new cheap ones at advance for 150
How long would you need it for?
wow 150…thats seems cheap!
Hard to tell how long I would need it. I have to pull my engine to see if my pressure plate is bad or the fork is bent. So once I pull the engine it would have to sit till the parts that I needed got in. I’m guesing maybe a week and a half at the most.trying to plan doing this next Tuesday.
But if they are only 150 then I might just buy one.
Harbor Freight has them cheap too.
Those $150 hoists are cheap, Chinese, crudely made, heavy as fuck and they work just fine…
Nice.
yea our work has 3 of them right now. but i cant let one get tide up for over a week. they actually have two diesels hangin from them right now. 5.9 cummins and a 7.4 powerstroke. and soon to be another 6.0 powerstroke that went down last night.
go to harbor freight out by century III
they had them cheaper then that i think
i rented one from Grand Rental Station on Babcock Blvd (bottom of Cemetary Ln) for 30 bucks over a weekend. Also, Advance Auto Parts have engine stands for like 40 bucks. You could rent the hoist, buy a stand, put it on that till you’re ready to put the motor back in and rent it again. Better than storing an engine hoist that gets used rarely (they’re pretty big compared to a stand)
you can borrow mine. I’ll need it back by mid April or so at the latest, but you can borrow it. PM me if you’re interested.
me,if u wanta drive this far
sissy, I just unbolt the engine and lift it out. Quit being a pussy and pull it out.
i know someone that would prob sell one pretty cheap
