I bought this brand new a few years ago, It was on a rolling stand and tripped over a cord(damn ps2) when I was moving it and it fell, about a week after I got it, and ever since then component outputs do not work, there is also a small color distortion on the right side of the screen near the speaker that comes and goes and is more noticeable on blank blue screens when changing inputs. I had a repair man demagnitize it and only that small part shows. I am suprised that over the years nothing more has gone wrong with it.
the S-video and composite works fine, the Tv RF works fine, sound is perfect, also has a hyper surround feature that makes sounds feel like they are going around you. Brightness and contrast are still just as good as the day I bought it.
