Here’s the deal.
This transmission was in my supercharged thunderbird.
It is a built 4r70w from Texas. It is basically a beefed up e350 transmission with all the jerry mod’s done to it (for those in the know)…
I had it hooked up to a 4000 stall converter, that blew up, and threw clutch material, and burned up the pump.
From what I can remember, there is metal in the pan, so something else is chewed up.
Before I sold the car two years ago, I swapped the trans out, and put in a stock mark8 one.
I have this blown up trans sitting in my girlfriends fathers garage.
