First time to the track this year.

Well, I’ll just post numbers and then get into details.

1st Run:

60’:2.667
1/4:15.016
MPH:99.64

2nd Run:

60’:2.571
1/4:15.037
MPH:97.81

This was my best run. I was having issues figuring out where to launch. I did one 4k launch and another 5k launch. I was having some traction issues throughout the night. These runs were on 8psi on a conservative tune with 11.5 at WOT. I also have some small issues with my timing being a tooth or two off and a small vacuum leak on an injector. Overall I’m happy with the passes, I know the car will be able to get into 13’s with some more TLC and boost.

I never got better than a 14.0 @97 in my DSM.

I had all 1.8x 60’ times, 4 of them I think, is that how many runs we got?

The stock exhaust and cat probably slowed me down a bit, as did the lack of 2nd gear synchros which required me to cheat off the 3rd gear synchros before going into 2nd.

So all in all it was a pretty good night, it would have been better if I had been able to get a 13.XX on a time-slip, but I’l live.

I pulled a run with 1.838 60’ and 13.246@106.01. Not the 12.99 or better I was looking for, but it’s still an improvement.

I ran a new best of 12.073@113.66 with a 1.683 60’

on the next run I then broke… I am guessing I sheared the input shaft on the tranny. Oh well, now its time for a Z tranny

My first time out ever

Hit a 1.8 something on my 60’ on my third run, fnishied with a 13.33 @ 100mph

The 1.8 60’ seemed to be the norm for the DSM AWD guys I was talking to. Nice pass, you’re definitely hooked up with the 100 MPH on 13.33.

I only seen you run once, and that was towards the beginning when we get gettin lunch…

looked like a bad launch and car died afterwards…

The axle stripped the spool screwing up the axle and spool…

the good thing is the Axle end is only $150 and the spool was like $200…

It can always be worse!!!

with the spool i can Drive down the track with 1 axle it just pulls to one side real bad…

W/ this mph, i see you getting low 14’s high 13’s if you get the 60 foot down to a 2.0-2.2 range.

I went 14.0@98 all motor with a 2.1 60’
Seat time will help this car out big time!

get some tires and you will be good

You did this with a Hyundai? My wife works for them, but I don’t know much about them yet. Is this a factory Turbo model? LMK. Thanks!
