5.O AWD is win for everything but MPGs. My mother has one we tow a 24" pontoon boat with. Never slips on the launch ramp. And yes it is fun in the snow. Drifts like a champ! Only issue we had were annoying emissions nonsense! Powertrain has never let us down!
It seems like all the 5.0 exploders and mountain queers have that exhaust leak.

Fuck yes it would dude. I don’t even think I’d get the entire block under that hood though, let alone the head, VC, and turbo piping. Fucking motor’s 3 1/2 feet tall.

Nice Explorer!! I have a 98 but it is only a 4.0. My sister had a nice Mountaineer 5.0 and it was awesome until my bro-inlaw tried taking a 30mph corner at 60 and ran it up on a bridge. LOL She got around 17-18mpg
