I’m selling my JL 12 inch W6 subwoofer. This sub is awesome, and sounds great. It was over $600 when purchased new last year, I’m looking to get $250 obo. It is in excellent condition with the exception of one very small scuff in the outer cone foam (just a scuff, it didn’t crack, or puncture through the foam, see pictures below it’s hard to even tell it’s there).

do you think thats a fair price for a used JL W6? a few years ago when teh W7 came out i picked up 2 new W6s for 300. that was from total image on rte 60. i may be interested but not for that price

They also changed designations.

He is saying he has a W6V2 which is the new one that I had bought last winter for the Cav. It’s still a $500 sub new today. When the W7 came out the old W6 is now the current W3v2…

And your pictures are still not working. All you have to do is look at the basket and you can tell which sub it is either the New W6v2 or the Old W6 (current W3v2). The new W6 looks like the W7 except the basket has 5 “arms” where the W7 has 6 “arms”

Yes I do think that’s fair, as Sight N Sound mentioned, it’s the new W6, and I based my price on what used W6’s sell for on ebay. If no one on here is interested, that’s probably where I’ll end up listing it (I was trying to avoid ebay fees and the hassel of shipping it, by selling it on here though).
