A good friend of mine was nice enough to invite myself and a few friends to upstate NY(Tug Hill area) to ride in late winter. We got to ride dirt bikes in 8 to 10 feet of snow… no thats not a typo… dirt bikes lol, just modified a little .
The ride is F’n awesome! Everything is fully adjustable. The handling is insane, we were pulling away from most every sled through the trails. You can rail on them alot harder then you can in the dirt. Powder is where they would really shine, jumping huge drifts was a blast, airing it out they feel like a normal bike just with a softer landing. Its hard to believe until you ride one!
Wow that is sweet! I remember riding my old kx125 on the streets one year with acouple friends when there was a blizzard. everytime it got in the midrange or top end it was fishtail time lol. didn’t stop or turn very good either haha.
haha, I leaned on a few like I was getting my senior picture taken. I took my share of hard parkers no doubt lol, I busted the turn signals off of the Aprilia  .
I’ll have to dig around for some action shots, I think someone has some.
haha sure. The RM was a blast, if you look closely you can see the 2 nitrous tanks bolted on to the fork tubes.
haha wow. didnt notice that before. incredible. i love the suzukis handling on dirt, so wonder if that sharp-handling transfers over to the snow too. lol
