The motor is good to at least 9K but we will rev it until a shift point that brings the motor back into a good powerband.

I was in my buddy’s 1K H 3/S and he was shifting at 9200 or so and it was fucking NUTS to watch the RPM gauge fly past the red into unknown land. If he shifted that thing at 6800 or so, it would fall on its face for a fraction of a second.

I’m actually concerned about that turbo. If im not mistaken isn’t the 76gts quite laggy? I dont think his is DBB either. I really only want to make 700hp, 750 on race. If a SP67mm will get me there, it’s a choice ill have to make.

I’m pretty sure that we have been over this, but you arent going to make anywhere near 700WHP on a 67MM turbo on pure pump gas. Mid 5’s is more realistic.

If you arent going to drive the car that often and ‘only’ want those power levels, I’d just keep race gas in it all the time AND keep the stock ecu/vpc/gcc. I ran 43psi with a 67MM turbo with gforce ecu/vpc/SAFC and never hurt a thing. The stock computer is better at protecting the motor then an AEM. The car also made 770whp on stock cams with the 67MM…

If you are going to run a lot of fuel thru the car, I’d do the meth setup that we spoke about, and an AEM so the car can be tuned better around the meth. 700WHP on pump gas and meth could be done with the right setup.

We probably have… problem is I have noone that can tune the vpc,gcc… so there lies one major issue. 43psi? wtf. What turbo would be required for the meth/pump gas setup? I’d love to run pump all the time. car only saw 1500 miles though since I’ve had it this year.

I can tune a VPC/GCC very, very easily on the street. Just need to get an FJO in there.

I’m assuming that you mean a ‘first gen’ display. There are 3 gens of the FJO brain box, and each one got better. If you are set on the green display, I can call FJO and see if they can make a one off custom for you. Personally, I’d just use the red display. Maybe you can find a peice of green tinted plastic and put in front of it?

I dont care if its a red display, I just want it to work the same. I thought they were different models.
