for sale is my 05 Yamaha YZ125. bike was bought new last september. it has new Dunlop 756s, PC pipe/sil, VForce 3, YOT graphics seat cover, renthal alum bars and sprocket, moose chain. bike is n excellent shape (a few guys on here that have seen it in person can attest to that). jetting is spot on, starts 1st kick, runs perfect and is nice and tight. its a shame to see it go. i’m in the Pittsburgh area if you wanna come see it. $3000 obo

not one like this. i’ve seen it. it’s actually better than new with all aftermarket stuff. and never rode hard.
do a search in this area on cycle trader. the cheapest one is $2800 and its in Piffard NY. i got 16 within 350 miles of here and most are 3g’s or more. if you found one for 2g’s then more power to you, its gonna be more like 3 for mine.
Not sure if you know how ebay works…but there is a starting bid and you bid up from there. Most people set a reserve…which is the Min bid they would accept to sell the item. I looked on ebay and all the bikes that are around $2K or less the reserve is not met. There are a few with a buy it now option over $3K.
I have seen and riden the bike for sale, this thing runs spot on and is in prestine shape. It is well worth $3K.
saw 2 go with extras, pipe, gear, low hrs, 04 and o5, 2.1,2.4… Very well acclimated with ebay.

04s will be a drop off from the 05 because its a totally different bike, aside from the plastic. the bike is 10lbs lighter and has a completly new, compact motor, new aluminum frame and swingarm…trust me, if someone is in the market for a YZ125, the 05+ is a big upgrade from the 04. 2400 is a good price for an 05. im confident that mine is just as nice/tight as any alum frame YZ125 on the used market right now…i can work slightly on the price but not much. the bike is worth it and speaks for itself. its kick start, no need for electric, a 125 fires so easy, you could probly fire it up with your hand pushing the kick lever. you are right, doesnt hurt to ask, but just telling you my reasoning and that cycle trader doesnt show anything less than 2800 within 350 miles (05).
