my previous winter beater is up for sale

here is what it has:
rebuilt engine about 15,000km ago
5 door hatch
tape deck, 2 working speakers
auto
cloth interior
carburated same engine that comes in the sr5 ae86
FWD
new exhuast piping to the muffler
4 tires that are only a year old
1985 (no etest)

what it needs:
windsheild ( was smashed by a piece of ice that fell from a moving semi)
brakes need to be serviced (i have not looked but has been sitting all summer but pads are only a year old)

this car was driven all winter untill the windsheild was smashed

i never had a it not start for me even when it was -20 and it sat for 4 days at horseshoe.

have owned it for 4 years

has rust but no holes

this is an awsome beater car, i drove this snowboarding all the time

it lacks on hp but makes up for it with the gas mileage.

asking $450obo.

Bump for a good car.

I had an 87 nova which was the sister to that. (86 and 87 GM just bought the car right from Toyota and stamped it.)
Drove that car hard for a year and 8 months of that the water pump was pooched. Never had a problem in the winter either. Never got stuck even during the icestorm

Good luck with the sale.

u should paint it black and white panda, sell it for $4500 bucks to a noob rice drifter

how much you want if I asked you to certify it?

get back to me in the market for a beater right now…

fmaguire@modified.com

Cheers,

over $1000…

any car certified and that runs decent is worth atleast $1000.

i dont have the money to certify this thats why it is cheap

oh yeah, bump $350

nice house dude.

lol, varun you kill me…

someone should grab this! 350 bucks? If i didnt just buy a beater of my own I’d be on this in a second.

Even if you have to drop 500-600 on it to certify (doesnt sound like it) it’s a good deal if it runs strong…
