Not going to really need it this season, so getting rid of it. Either it sells or the Fire Dept. gets a $2200 charitable donation (KBB) and I get a tax write off.
1991 Acura Integra GS Hatch (2-door). Clean title.
New battery was installed last year. Oil, plugs, filter, general maintenance always done. Wiperblades changed. Everything works. A/C, moonroof, heat, defrosters, power windows, power door locks, cruise control etc. etc.
Car is automat(rag)ic, cloth interior. 166,545 miles on the odometer. All-season tires on the car, should be good for one more winter. Body is in good condition, very minor rust. Car is white in color.
Needs:
Horn. It’s dead. You will need to replace it. Also the asswipes that owned it before me tried to go lowrider on it with a woodgrain wheel trim and attempted to gut the steering wheel and messed up the wheel horn switch (floating plates). Have no fear, I have a full replacement wheel already assembled with all parts working from the junkyard. You could hook that up if you so desire, or just wire a cheap push-button switch on the existing steering wheel to the horn.
The pipe between the muffler and the cat (S) is rusted (right in the middle of the “S”). A $12 collar from autozone will connect it back together, or you could just have it welded together/ put a new pipe in. Whisper quiet when fixed.
Pretty simple, nothing spectacular. No serious mechanical skill needed.
Car runs great, served very admirably as my winter beater for 3+ years.
I’ll get pictures up when I get a chance. If you don’t want to wait for pictures, PM me to check it out.
If you are looking for a cheap reliable winter beater to drive while your baby stays safely stored away, this is that beater. :ohyeah:
Asking $1300.
The car will either be sold by 11/1/07 or I will just renew the plates, drive it another winter and give it away to charity.
As for the charitable donation you get a tax break on what the car sells for at auction not off the KBB price, although it used to be like that. I am sure you will have no problem selling it for $1300 though. Sounds like a good deal. GLWS.

I was under the impression that since it would go to the Fire Dept. they wouldn’t sell it. I assumed they would use it as a training prop to teach jaws of life operation and/or burn it to train for putting out fires?
Fire departments will not sell the car if it is donated. They will either A) use it in a drill, or B) if they can’t use it they have it towed to a junk yard.
Update: I forgot I bought a horn from the stealership for the stupid thing. Found it while cleaning garage shelf. Installed it last night. So that’s taken care of, now all you need is the switch or you can install the other steering wheel I already have.
you can click on the attachments for the rest. Act now and receive free :snky: set of racing neon blue horsepower adding seat covers! Guaranteed to give you 50HP and make the girls moist. :lolham:
Just :fyi: I am not holding the car for anybody. I don’t feel like dealing with the hassle of deposits and such, unless (a) I really know you well and/or (b) you are a serious buyer. Cash or certified check in hand for $1300 takes it. If you show up without cash, and someone shows up tomorrow with money, the car will be sold to them.
In other news I just got my registration renewal for the car in the mail today. I would rather not pay $48 to renew the plates on a car I don’t need to drive. So to any future people coming out to see the car, please be serious. If you are just a tire kicker/lowballer, don’t waste my time. I’m not trying to be mean, that’s just the way it needs to be for my sanity and yours.

Any other questions about the car, feel free to PM me.
