FS: 1992 Champagne Coupe

I went and looked at this car because I was interested in buying it, but after seeing it I realized it was more work than I wanted to put in at the moment. The body and paint looks good other than some rust underneath the trunk spoiler, and a big patch at the back of the power sunroof. The car hasnt been run in 2 years, so the engine is hurting. I put fresh gas in it, and brought new plugs and wires, but we could barely get it running. When I pulled the plugs, there was oil all over the one in cylinder 2. So yeah, engine is shot also. The frame looks good other than the front of the frame rails which are rotted through. The car has power everything, HUD, and the leather interior (I don’t know what trim level that is). If you can weld and are looking for a project car to swap an engine in, this may be for you. If you are interested, email Alan, AlanC@synnex.com. There is no point in replying in this thread, or pming me about it. He wants 1200 for it, but I know he is willing to go lower because the car is rough! I guess he realized he wasn’t going to get 1200 for it when I showed disgust at the condition of the frame rails.

that is thing is the epidemy of crazy rust, poor poor coupe :frowning:

I know! I was so sad when I went to see it and saw how bad the frame was. It wouldnt be too bad if he was selling it for $600, and someone who had experience doing body work bought it. The interior is still so nice.

you think he would take under 600 for it though?, because its not to hard to find running rustbuckets. and this one dosnt even run

I have no idea. Contact him directly through his email and see what he says. He probably would say no at first in hopes of a better offer.
