I’m selling a 98 cavalier i have been using as a winter car for the past couple years.

Details:
Auto
4 door
Inspection expires Jan 09
213k miles (used to be a coca-cola company car)

In the past couple years:
new front wheel bearings
new front ball joints
replaced alternator
new halfshaft
replaced battery
new fuel filter
fixed rusted rear fuel and brake lines

Needs:
new tires
front pads and rotors
front wheel alignment

Other than the usual things to expect the car has been pretty mechanically solid.

no codes? why does it need alignment is stuff worn out?
will it repass inspection with pads/rotors/tires? a friend of mine needs a winter beater

It needs an alignment because the ball joints were replaced. No check engine light. It should pass after pads/rotors/tires.

bump. someone needs a winter car

Brakes might be good enough too. I bought cheap rotors and the rotor surface isn’t that smooth. Plenty of pad left.
