FS: 1999 Nissan Maxima

Please post in my other thread.

I do not want to go to a ‘shop’ because I have a feeling they will charge me a crap load of $$$ per hour and take like 2 hours to diagnose the problem…when I can do it for the same amount of money and probably take care of some things as preventive maintenance while I’m at it.

dude its a maxima there bullit proof injectors and shit dont go bad on them nor do motors or trannys change the plugs and oil changes ya know tune up shit and there happy ,as far as a shop goes not all shops are crooked my boss is prolly the most honest ya will ever meet and he is a electrical genious

Hourly rate for diagnostics?

50- 60

Okay I still have the PM…the injectors are already enroute so we’ll see. I’ll keep that in mind. I figured he’d be like Nissan which wants $90/hr.

nah and we have all the info and diag equip as them

Okay. Cool. Thanks.

Free bump for what looks like to be an incredibly clean and cared for car. Hopefully the new owner keeps it in as good of condition as you have.

Price dropped to $5,800 from $6,300 because I sold the custom headlights tonight.

Original post updated because of new price and pics. No longer selling the wheels, projector headlights (sold seperately), or speakers with the car. Everything but the intake manifold and suspension is back to stock. P0171 code is still there, and I am still currently working on it.

Bump.

Price lowered to $5,300 as the CEL is back on for the P0171 issue. I will continue to try and fix this.

Car is most likely going to become an eventual DD so I’m planning on keeping it unless someone offers me a very competitive/enticing deal. As it’s a 99 and most people aren’t wiliing to spend what I’m asking, that’ll probably not happen. I’m not selling this car at the same price as other 99 Maximas as it’s been maintained like crazy and babied to the full extent of the word. Not to mention all the new sensors due to the weird P0171 code.
