red… nice!
You do understand the reason for blackbook pricing is to help dealers make money(there is always required maint. before a car can be re-sold). You know the ones that have paid 10’s of thousands of dollars to have access and re-sell cars.
Quick question when you go to an auction do you have the chance to spend an hour or two putting the car up on a lift to go through the whole thing to prevent future headaches?
Think before you post you stupid fuck. I’ve personally seen this car and I can honestly tell you it is in immaculate condition and has been taken care of. G/L with the sale bro.
Actually you asshat, the auctions do take the time to put the cars up on lifts and fix anything that is wrong with them before they go for sale and then there is also a post sale inspection to make sure the car is 100% functional as advertised before the owner takes the car and if it is not then the buyer can go through arbitration to get a lower price or just get all his money back and give back the car, whatever he wants. I’m sure that you have never been to a real auction, maybe only the shady public ones, but the real auctions in the area and around the country do not operate in such a mannor, but thanks for playing with your half ass truths.

38stang, thanks for the input but I do not see any dealer auctions here on nyspeed. Whole different ball game. Maybe if you were interested in the car we could talk. Since you probably aren’t, take a hike.
bump, I really need a car better suited for some roadtrips this summer
would make a trade deal on a used STi, Mazdaspeed3, or 2009 WRX
ttt for a new month
spring is coming

If black book is $15,475, dealer retail would be anywhere from $17,500 to $20,000. That’s barely lower than his price, and he has a load of people willing to vouch for the condition, AND he’s willing to negotiate. I’d say he’s being reasonable, if maybe a little optimistic.
Stop being a dick and let the man sell his car.
Free bump for what looks like a great condition Z.
BoardJ, you should sell the car for 15,700 because that’s what it would sell for at aution, you are a huge retard, everyone sells cars for trade in value. :roll2:
thanks guys
If I wanted to get trade-in value for the car, I would just trade it in. Not happening at 15.5k though, that is for sure.
the next person that talks about blackbook pricing is going to get slapped back to the time before al gore created the interweb.
good luck with your NON-DEALER-TRADE-IN sale Twom.
