I’m selling my 215/55/16 Goodyear TripleTred All-Season Tires.
They were put on the car at 50kmi and my car currently has 66kmi on it. If I was to leave as is, the front tires would probably go another 10k while the rear tires would probably go about another 12-13k. This is my first ever set of tires that I bought, so I’m just guesstimating. I got a flat in one on January 1st (I was in Binghampton, NY for New Years). I fixed it by plugging it and it’s been fine since. Holds air, balances fine, etc. etc. No issues so I consider it a non-issue.
Price: $220 picked up. I paid around $460 for these on EBay back when I got them.
They will be on the car until they are sold or winter hits. They are great in the rain, pretty sticky for an all-season tire, and over-all I’d definitely buy them again if I was getting all-season tires.
and anyone interested in buying these but are nervous because of the plug, bring it into goodyear and i will patch it for you (even though were not supposed to redo other peoples repair jobs)
Major kudos to you man. That’s what being part of a community is all about.
I have faith in my patch job. It has lasted 16kmi afterall. Haven’t had a single problem with that tire since January 1st, 2008 at 12:30noon (when I got up to fix it). It’s perfectly fine. I don’t consider it an issue.
I would be…
…but only if you find someone to take the other two lol. Actually…I’ll check my moms car today and see what size her tires are. If they are the same or can fit these, I’ll probably just sell you two and give the other to my parents. I’d rather sell them though cause I could use the money for something else lol.
lol. :). It’s all good. I was up late fixing my XBox 360 from that dreaded Red Rings of Death issue (I didn’t make any progress), so I’m a bit out of it also. It’s all good.
