I have a set of brand new -never mounted- Sumitomo HTR H4 tires in 245/50/16

Ideal wheel sizes for this tire would be 16x8 to 16x9.

This is an “Ultra High Performance All Season” tire. Which basically translates to a summer intended tire that is rated for all seasons. In lamens terms - you can drive it year-round if you want, but you probably shouldn’t.

Other UHP A/S are ES100, General Exclaim, etc.

This set of 4 tires is prices to moved ASAP at $400 firm - you will not find these anywhere for even remotely close to this price.

My rims are 7’’ wide, would these work alright?

they will mount but it is not recommended

what I should have said is that they will mount, but I would personally advise strongly against it
