FS 44lb accel injecters

these are NEW injecters, part number is ACC-150144 these are 44lb injecters, i was told they would fit my SHO but they updated the style a couple of months before i purchased them and the new updated style won’t work on my car.

i contacted innovative since thats where i purchased them from but since i bought them like 4 months ago i can’t return them. (completely understandable) he looked them up and here are some cars that they should fit.

1989 - 1989 Mercury Cougar
Engine: 3.8L, V6 Supercharged, Gas, MFI, VIN “C”

1984 - 1985 Buick Riviera
Engine: 3.8L, V6 Turbo, Gas, MFI, VIN “9”

explain updated style? Why will they not work

the injector is too short and the tip is completely wrong i’ll get pics.
