FS: GT35R turblow...

Well…I finally got my turbo back after 2 months of nothing from the company that i sent it to in order to have it replaced/rebuilt…so, with that being said I’m selling it…

Its a Garrett GT3582 T3 flange…5 bolt exhaust side (can be made into a v-banded exhaust flange with the right v-band adapter) It WAS internally wastegated, but the wastegate actuator/arm were removed so its now externally gated…

The company I sent to was supposed to diagnose the problem (I already knew what it was but they obviously wont admit guilt on their product being shitty…it was a piece of fiberglass from my intake box that was sucked into the compressor side and pretty much chewed up the compressor wheel fins.) So yes, the turbo WILL NEED a new compressor wheel and a re-balance! THATS ALL! the EXHAUST SIDE IS FINE…THE HOUSING IS NOT DAMAGED AT ALL! I called around to a few different companies and both told me if all the turbo needed was a new compressor wheel/re-balance it would run about $200 which included the cost of them shipping the turbo back to you.

So, with all of that out of the way…This turbo brand new goes for about $1400…and I know a fully functional one usually sells for about $1000 with low mileage on it (mind you, I only put ~150 miles on this turbo before I took it off and found the problem so no real damage was done)

So I’m asking for $600…

A new compressor wheel/re-balance - $200
A V-band exhaust side - $50-$75

So you get a pretty much brand new GT35R for about $850…as long as you dont mind waiting for the turbo to be re-balanced which could take a few weeks unless you know someone that could do it sooner…

and now for the pics…

dont mind the tape on the exhaust flange its so the packing peanuts wouldnt get into the exhaust side

wow…no one wants a cheap fixer-upper 35R???

hmmm wonder how long the stock a4 clutch would hold this on low boost?

hahahha i ran it on 10 lbs and my clutch was A-OK!

find me a 2nd for the the same or a similar price, and we may have a deal…

is it possible to convert it to a single turbo setup like the poopra’s??? lol

yeah wouldnt 2 gt35r’s be overkill anyway?

are the 300Z’s like one turbo for each bank of cylinders or is it like the smaller turbo to spool the bigger turbo?

it’s possible but way too much work…and 2 gt35r’s would not be overkill…it would be just enough

Z32’s are twin turbo…not sequential…imagine 2 engines, 3 cylinders each, 1.5L each, each with their own throttle body, and each with a completely separate from the other side exhaust system…i give you the VG30DETT

u fucking idiot Andy…if you could fit 2 GT35rs on a Z I would buy them for you.

:picard:

ahhh…kinda figured they werent sequential

well i only have one :frowning:

Save it for your new bike, quit being a pussy

ahhahahahahhaha good call will…ill throw a 35R on the bike and maybe kill myself after only 2 days rather than a week…how bout you help me hook up a 200 shot of naaaaawwwwz too lol

FASTEST BIKE EVAAAAAAAAAAAR!

ok so then a gt35r for 1.5L? that isnt a built motor. way too big imo

OT in Classified thread = infraction.

read the guidelines, n00b

Incorrect again sir, I said if you could make them fit that I would buy it and another one for you.

Thus On Topic.:sword:

bump…still for sale…:frowning:
