Are you an importer or an exporter? By that i mean do you work or have a contact in Canada to help with the customs and shipping, or do you work out of Japan?
SMP Motors is based in Toronto, I have personal friends in japan, who are in the exporting industry and find me the top quality 15 year old vehicles. The nice thing about SMP is that my people test drive the cars, list any problems at all and do not take risks by purchasing vehicles through auctions. Private sales only. In my mind thats the best type of vehicle. One that hasn’t been passed around from dealer to dealer. how is the whole insurance on the car,is it more because its right hand drive?! and what about registration? is it all the same as a normal car that i would buy here?
i heard some cars sides are bang up a bit would there be a problem of that how many cars u sold in toronto so far? just wanna know info about it and how long well the car be delievered. and infront of my house…
Just a really quick question. Are you able to get your hands of any R33 GT-R’s? if so are you able to get me an estimate… im torn b/w geting an S14 or an R33 (If i can even find someone who can grab one)?
s14’s and r33’s are not legal yet. The car’s must be 15 years old to the build date, the earliest you can get a r33 or s14 is under the early early 1994 build dates, which means another 3 years.
the S14 im just planning on getting a northamerican… so no worries there, but thanks for clearing that up, even tho i knew it… i want a project car (so i wouldnt even street it for a good year or so) and it wouldnt be for here - also have a place in the states, so it would be for there…
Hey everyone, yes unfortunatly due to the importation laws of canada, the vehicle must be 15 years old to the month of manufacture. So R33’s are not avaliable for another couple of years, but in 2008, 1993 Zenki S14 are avaliable…and they sell quite cheap…just to let you know. The 180sx is in japan currently waiting to be shipped, the price of the 180sx is $5200 if bought and deposit paid before shipping, once the car lands the vehicles price will increase due to the extra work and money required.
