Cleaning house. All parts in working order unless noted otherwise.

$SOLD ECS Mobo - K7VZA V1.0 (manual: here Specs: here) With AMD Athlon CPU (1.2ghz iirc) & associated sink/fan. This combo booted up and loaded Win XP. I did not check anything else.

$5 Dell Mobo - CN-02H240-13740 26Q. I cannot Google any specs on this unit. It was pulled from a Dell GX150 Desktop (Dell Tag 4F0VM11 ). This PC ran in my home for the last two years, when the electric came back on last week, the HDD cooked. The mobo would power up to BIOS, but no further.

$5 Intel PIII (1133/256/133). Skt PGA370. This is the CPU for the Dell mobo listed above. With fan.

does the ECS mobo have a heat sink on it?

if so, il take that and a 512 stick of ram for it for 30 bucks

Yes. The CPU is hidden under a working heat sink & fan.

picked up ECS mobo and Apacer ram today.

everything seems to be working nicely. Dual boot setup is in progress. i will be running xp fundamentals/ubuntu
