FS: Near-Mint 89 240sx Coupe 99,XXX kms

1989 Nissan 240SX Coupe
99,XXX Original KMs
Near-mint condition, never seen salt
Located in Oakville
Asking: $6900

Pictures are HERE

I’ll start with the bad:

  • The tires on there are cracking and won’t be any good really (but see the good section, you will get some near-new tires with the sale)
  • One of the two tailpipes coming from the muffler has cracked off. The other one was cracking a while ago, and my mechanic welded it back on to the muffler free of charge at the safety test. I still have the pipe, so it could presumably be welded back on just like the other one was at little to no cost. The pictures do not show this, since it only happened recently.

Now the good:

  • No rust (except on the exaust piping).
  • The tires may need replacing, but I have a set of properly sized all-season tires with less than 20 km on them (twenty kilometers - - not twenty thousand) that I will include with the sale.
  • Recently installed an Aiwa headunit with aux input, and the two rear speakers have been replaced with Kenwoods. I will also include Pioneer replacement speakers for the front. I had intended on putting them in but never got around to it.
  • Has Sparco pedals installed, but originals are included.
  • Side-window glass was replaced by previous owner because of some typical scuff marks, but the original glass is also included with the sale just in case you’d want it.
  • Reciepts for everything from previous owners, including original bill of sale and 240sx booklet from the dealership.
  • Pretty much everything else is good. No accidents, Clean Title, Etc.
  • Power Windows, Working HUD, Completely unused cigarette lighter (never smoked in)
  • Working A/C! Blows nice and cold!

Some background information:
I bought this car from its second owner in August with the intention of using it as my daily driver but I quickly decided that I would feel bad about winter-driving this car, so I’ll be driving a civic instead and this car can go to someone who doesn’t need to drive to university every day in the winter. I bought the car for $6500, but I am asking $6900 for the following reasons. The first reason is that I am including a set of nearly-new tires with the sale, which I bought for nearly $500. The second reason is the audio equipment which is in the car as well as the 2 front speakers which are to be included, all of which is worth between $300 and $400. Now, I have only raised the price $400 because I have put a bit of mileage on the car since I got it, as well as the one tailpipe has cracked off (even though that should be a very cheap fix). This is one of the finest examples of a 240sx Coupe I have ever seen, so hopefully someone can enjoy it as much as I have for the short time that I owned it!

Hopefully I haven’t forgotten anything, if anyone has any questions please let me know. I would like to sell this before winter but I am not desperate to do so. Thanks for the interest!

Wow that is an amazingly clean car, and probably the fastest car sold on son for over $5000. Congrats on the sale, i hope the new owner takes as good care of it as you did.

Ps, did it sell to someone on the board?

i doubt anyone on this board had more than $5000 in their hands at one time in their life.

LOL.
