They have the same part number for the WRX and STi.
They show it as 05-07 though… that’s odd.

Like I said though, I bought these 3 years ago and someone has already brought to my attention that there were ‘old’ ones and ‘new’ ones.
I’m assuming I have the old ones because the little star means they’re new products.

I’ve heard that too and Tanabe doesn’t list 04 on their site.

The only thing I’ve really found was a google cache page of Nasioc with a guy selling " 0608 GDBMCGR" whereas mine say “0407 GDBMCGR”

With lower numbers I’d have to say these are the earlier version. He posts that he was using his (newer ver) in an 04 STi though.

Tried to clean them up a bit. The midpipe is slightly rusty @ the flexpipe portion.
I bought some long kartboy hangers a while back but it hung too low and looked stupid.
I just trimmed a little arch in the bottom side of the bumper and it didn’t touch after that.
The spot on top of the tip is from touching my bumper before I did that.
It may buff out but my elbow grease could only clean it so much.
The extra gasket I thought I had was 2 1/2" though. 
I do have new bolts that look to be just long enough too.
