I got that too when I had the A4.
but for anyone who knows B5 A4s
98 and under has the oval logo under the sidemarkers and orange in the tails
98.5 does not have oval logo and no orange in tails
99 full size passenger mirror
99.5 has projectors, different sidemarkers, and crystal clear/red tails

Also if badged the 99 and lower has badges on the top of the deck and 99.5 and up has them in the middle of the deck lid.

Sorry for the history lesson, but the mirror, tails, and lack of oval logos make it an obivious 98.5.
On a serious note beautiful car, very tempting but I have to pass. These cars are a pleasure to drive g/l with the sale.

Original owner had it till about 65k, then a second guy bought it, but only had it for a few months. He ended up getting a new job, and hence forth, a new AC Cobra for his “fun” car. So I am the third. Original who initially had it SC’d was an older Dr. from NC.

Current Issues

  • Cruise Control is disconnected - Disconeccted duringa repair and I’ve just never hooked it back up.

  • Trip computer display fades in hot weather, but is still completely legible. This happens to every B5 Audi.

  • I suspect the front DS tie rod end is failing. Replacement Info

  • LWFW Chirps below 2500 rpms when cool. Common with all LWFWs on Audis, can not be heard over road noise or radio.

  • Small dent on hood from leaving something on the supercharger and closing the hood. Normal wear and tear on the paint.
    I will help set up shipping, but won’t drive all the way to WNY. Don’t have the time. Come down and pick it up, it’s warm down here :wink:

Has anyone seen this vehicle recently?
The pictures look nice but you know how that goes.

Edit: How often does it need a new belt and how easy is it to obtain one?
Are the other wheels included?

Rick saw it a few months ago. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow… oh shit, my memory card shit the bed… I’ll grab a new one at best buy or something and post some up before the weekend is over. Some of the ones posted are new, some are old.
