The laptop is in great condition since it basically never leaves my desk. I bought it for school but then dropped out and need money now so I’ll be resorting back to the crappy desktop. It has a small scratch in the paint in the corner by the speaker which does not effect anything and the usual grime on the keyboard and touchpad excepted with a laptop I use every day. Nothing a little compressed air or those mini vaccumes couldn’t fix im sure (none of which i have).

Everything works perfectly and Laptop will come freshly formatted with the Windows XP cd that came with it. Its really a sweet machine and its going to suck going back to a 1.8ghz POS desktop.

The one with 512 and 60gb sells for 1100 brand new. A stick of ram is 50 bucks, the difference between a 80gb and a 60gb is 20 bucks.

You STFU lucky, it’s not like I made up a price off the top of my head. I posted proof from a major retailer. This has been discussed ad-nauseum in Front Desk, and there’s nothing wrong with what I did. If I just went like “dude bro, I can get this for like 10 dollars yo!” that’d be one thing, but posting a link, to a major retailer, offering nice things like warranty, a 2 week return policy, credit, etc… Yea… it’s called LOOKING OUT FOR PEOPLE AND MAKING SURE THEY DON’T GET RIPPED OFF. To me, this was like asking $4800 for Megan coilovers, when Varun and everyone else can get them for 1200.

Dude, get off your high horse, this isn’t a computer forum, and I’m trying to look out for people, that’s all. Nothing against the seller, I don’t even know the guy, but this laptop was selling (not the lower model I linked to, the EXACT one he’s selling) for between 1599.99 and 1799.99 brand new a year and a half ago. I know, b/c I WORKED there. Same store, we just liked to raise and lower our prices to fool people into thinking we have a sale. I feel bad for the dude if he went and paid 2G+ for it somewhere else, but this is a fact, it was selling for THAT much BRAND NEW. I’m not being a prick, I’m not making anything up, I’m stating cold hard fact.
