I bought my 240sx almost a year ago in September '04, and the car came with the clutch that’s on it now. I myself have put about 20,000kms on it, but I do not know the total mileage.
If you want to take a look at it first before buying that’s fine too.
Based on what I know, I would recommend a) machining the flywheel before installing and b) use the clutch stuff as a short-term solution, ie. turbo/new clutch down the road etc…it’s not going to be “like new” wear-wise.
your going to have a hard time finding anyone who will even take a used clutch for free nevermind 30 bucks. no one wants to pull a tranny and put in a used clutch when a new oe one will last much longer…goodluck ne way
True enough, at least there is some assurance that it will work when you put it in though. This is really more for temporary use, for people who do their own labour.
