FS: Vortech Air/Water Aftercooler, 96-04 Mustang *pix* CHEAP

Vortech MaxFlow Power Cooler…air/water, 96-02 mustang GT 2v…should work with other models with discharge tube changes.

Ok, I bought this used for use, got it installed and working…and got a siqq deal on a front mount, which is originally the route i wanted to take (cant pass it up)…so i need to get rid of this…like yesterday!

This is a COMPLETE kit. This kit has approx 5k miles on it!!!
This is the POLISHED unit. The discharge tube was powdercoated, and i stripped and polished it as well. When in the car, it will look GREAT! However, it does have the typical knicks and dings and a few light scratches here and there. It is a used part, so keep that in mind.

I can tell you that i know for a fact, it was working 100% fine on the previous owners car right before removal, and he had great gains from this… or i would have never dished out the cash for it…plus, my car was running with it briefly…(not driven)

the discharge tube was trimmed slightly to fit with my P51…it shouldn’t be enough to matter. i had to for it to work with my new intake manifold.

also, the tube was drilled and tapped for a lightning air temp sensor…same as factory mustang sensor, but its a screw in type, not push in…and i will include it only if you NEED it…a push in style just might work in the hole, but i don’t know.

and lastly, the blue coupler is history, and i replaced it with a black, 3 layer GOOD coupler. Its brand new and will be included!!

You get:

Polished Power Cooler
Polished Discharge tube
1, 3" coupler
Water Tank
Heat Exchanger
Water Pump
All the hoses and clamps.
Vortech Instruction Booklet. (not pictured)
(Instructions state for 96-02 mustangs, but 03/04 are no different…so i dotn see wht it cant be used on those.)

You will need:

some wire for the pump
some misc screw/bolts for mounting the exchanger

Thats about all i can tell you about it. This polished kit sells new from vortech for over $2100!! you can scoop them up from superchargersonline.com for $1600-ish…

Im asking $700 everything picked up…($725 if using paypal) if shipping is needed…Will ship overnight for free!

Come on, get creative with the piping and use both. lol

Any clue on how much power people are making with this size IC? I’m not sure how high this is efficient too.

i know of one particular car that made 675 rwhp with one of these…vortech says they are good for 1000 cfm and close to 600rwhp. 550 to be safe. anything higher it will be a restriction.

I have a friend that just bought a Vortech for his 2003 GT, im pretty sure he will be interested in it. I gave him a call, i think he has an account so he will prob contact you
