^There is SOME logic to that. Most of your stopping ability comes from the front tires. Who cares how fast you can take off if you cant slow down to save your life?
I would suspect that people did it accidentally. However, people are always so quick to point out HOW STUPID THAT OTHER PERSON IS, that they sometimes miss a rational explanation. That frustrates me.
LOL, I’ve seen some intense arguments on forums over the years based on that picture alone.
I’ve only ever used chains on our old H and some 8N. They where only used for the rear tires that where powered. Due to adding on a plow for winter, bucket or heaving towing in muddy places. ( trees ect.) Truck drives still chain rear powered tires. Really you put chains on to get through the bad. If its that bad you shouldn’t be going fast enough to do much harm.
