OMG the beer cam is my favorite ever!
I had a phone similar to that back in the day. May have been the same thing. It was in a leather case that you unzipped and pulled the receiver out of with a cord like that. We had a thing built into the trunk of the car that we would hook it into and then there was a handset next to the driver seat so when it would ring you could pick up the corded handset from the floor and answer the phone. IT WAS SO AWESOME!

He is talking about a brick phone. My parents had one in their car too. Phone calls were crazy expensive and it was literally the size of a cinderblock
My 1990 track SHO had the factory cell phone option. It was pretty neat. My parents had a bag phone in the early 90’s. That thing had a crazy powerful antenna. My brother activated it in 03 i think and used it in his rusty ranger.
You kids. Yeah, “car phones” were a thing before they got small enough to be carried around with you.
