The fact that he’s ratchet strapped to a bed in a little shed in the middle of nowhere makes me doubt how spontaneous this joke really was.
There’s no doubt that this was totally staged. I realized that the first time I saw it. The roof was made of foam board and there is no way that he had no idea they were ratchet strapping into a bed while he was sleeping and attaching the bungee cord to his bed.
Not to mention he’s sleepin in a house in the middle of nowhere with a slingshot contraption strapped to it and he had no idea? Unless they drugged the shit out of him.
