Is this what the kids mean when they said “based?”

I don’t know enough about economics to know what we need but 50% unemployment sounds like a disaster.

In the financial crisis of 2008 it was 10%

I think he meant a 50% increase from where it is.

I hope that’s what he meant

it was def a down day today. will be interesting, i would have thought there would be a bunch of tax loss selling into the new year anyways but this will be interesting.

Tell me you’re from wallstreetbets without telling me you’re from wallstreetbets.

i was just sent a document about how this was all structured. it speculates that pretty much all finacial assets you view on your computer are not even legally yours, or at least, they can be siezed or claimed by third parties through various means. this includes all equities and other asset types.

cant google a link to the doc so cant really share it.

Huh, kinda like how no one owns music anymore.

So, basically TikTOk T’s & C’s then.,

lol, imagine there actually is a case for certain forms of denialism???

hmm… never heard of this:

weird… buncha stuff mentioned does check out

Noticed my interest rate went up a bit on my HYSA

What bank are you using? I really need to stop sitting on 0% accounts :frowning:

I’ve been pretty happy with CIT for almost 5 years now. There are banks that have better rates but at the time I opened, they seemed to have the best options for what I needed.

'lol, that is honestly amazing and maybe a partial solution to the inflation issue is a whole bunch of staple businesses like this producing these kinds of ‘coins’ as a form of ‘micro-bond’ that is more accessible to the masses.

Discover, it’s not the best but not the worst either, it’s like 4.6 right now

If you want the highest returns get short term treasuries
