Ok so I’ve read your posts SpeedNStylez but they contradict each other. Does the price shown include customs? If not do you have any idea how much customs would charge on the camber arms for an S13.

GST&PST and then your brokerage fee. Made in the USA is Duty free, UPS automatically makes it duty free, FedEx, not sure. Contact shipper for brokerage fee.

Im interested in a few things if you can get more concreate info on shipping and customs

The customs info is concreate… NAFTA… goods made in the USA are duty free… tariff treatment 10 (UST - United States Tariff), goods not made in the USA, duty applies… tariff treatment 02 (MFN - Most favoured Nations)

Does the Interior support brace fit the s13 hatch, or just the coupe?

Scott

If you’re talking about this one, it’s just the coupe. The seatbelt mounts are not in the same location in the hatch.

Yes you are correct… The hatch needs a longer brace which we currently do not have…

About the brokerage fees… I have shipped to many customers in CANADA and so far have not had many problems with UPS. If you guys could explain the whole thing to me I might be able to work something out so there are no duties or fees…

I’d be interested in:

Front strut tower bar (chrome polished) - $35
Rear strut tower bar (chrome polished) - $35
Rear lower tie brace (chrome polished) - $33

If you figure out what I’m actually going be charged because I dont like seeing:

All prices include shipping from US. Any duties/taxes are your responsibility.

interested in front a rear strut bars for s14 at $35 a piece.

Im interested in the front ladder bar.

Scott

Firstly, SpeedNStylez I don’t mean to discourage these guys or anything but I think they should know about this… and you probably wouldn’t know about this since you never have to deal with it being in the US

Now although I don’t know a lot about this, I know you’ll be charged the usual 15% sales tax as well as a possible (2 out of 3 packages get this I’ve heard multiple times) brokerage fee.

I’m not sure what it is exactly but a real world example would be on a $300 lightened flywheel shipping&handling + tax + brokerage fee was $155 dollars. So the damn thing ended up costing $455 dollars.

I believe the brokerage fee is charged because the shipping company has to front the money for taxes at the border. I am fairly sure there is a way to set up an account so that there are no brokerage fees. On a group buy I dont see why this should be a problem. It may only require that the taxes be paid for in advance to the shipper, or all items could be shipped together requiring only one brokerage fee? Something to look into. I know I’ve been burned a couple of times by this.

I don’t usually post, but I figured I’d help you guys out.

When buying from the USA

  1. Ship USPS (United States Postal Service) and only USPS. Why? They do not have brokerage fees. DO NOT ship UPS. Their brokerage is huge.

Yes USPS does cost a little more, and you have to pay extra for a tracking number, but it is better to pay $10 extra for shipping than to be stuck with a $100 brokerage fee.

  1. Mark all packages as “Warranty Repair” . DO NOT mark as gift. Their is a limit on the value that you can put as “gift”. With “warranty repair” you pay no taxes, duties etc. because you are not considered to by “buying anything”.

In the last 4-5 months I’ve bought over 2g’s of product and paid at most 150 CDN on taxes, duties, customs, brokerage etc. etc. And that was only because the shipper didn’t follow my instructions.

Beautiful, good suggestions. I’ll definetly be trying this next time ;]
