Generator questions???????????

meh. still too much

i would rather have an outlet or inlet rather in my garage for my generator. go out to the garage, plug it in and fire it up. head on down to the basement to flip 2 breakers, and let there be light.
then when im helping one of my broke friends do a roof or some other bs job, and they couldnt afford a generator i can lend them mine for a fee (a case of beer).

or you could by a tri fuel kit like these

:word: my dad’s was 2900 shipped. I don’t think install is going to cost 10K and it’s a 13,000 watt

lol. the best way to get electricity from firewood is a steam turbine. Not rising heat. LOL… that would only serve to fill your house with CO.

That’s what I was thinking but where can I buy a steam turbine?
I am pretty sure Home Depot doesn’t carry them.:biglaugh:
I will google it and find someone, somewhere that makes them.

http://mb-soft.com/public/blower.html some info… 30 years old though…

For anyone that is looking for generators for their whole house, or a business I have tons of information.

Guardian, the model that Joes Dad purchased is mfg. by Generac, and it is what they market as their budget model for sale through companies like home depot. It is basicly a stripped down generac with little to no waranty service.

I can get generac’s for about 10% over Rexels in to stock cost (i dont see a penny of this, it is just what my company would charge me to purchase one) Our in to stock pricing is better than any other company in NY, so it would be a really great deal for anyone who needs one.

If you need sizing help, or a cut sheet that gives a little more info on what the different Kw ratings are capable of handling shoot me a pm or call me at Rexel, ask for mike gleeson 893-3030.

^ – Really not advertising… I wont make a penny, and my employer wont be making much at the price i am selling them for  I love having full control over pricing
