i have a 47sec video of a motor running & i need a pic or 2 of the motor…is there anyway i can get a pic from the video ? like a still shot or do i need some special video software
I would just take a screenshot of it, I’m sure theres other ways though…
press the print screen button while you are watching it, then paste it into mspaint
sweet, thanks Sonny
lemme know if it works. cause usually doesnt work for me.
when i open paint, it shows whatever is on the screen at that second. and when i save and close, the image goes black.
i take a pic of the laptop screen with my dig. camera. that’s the only way i get still shots.
hmm thats fucking odd. try pasting it in to MS Office Picture Editor
Ya it worked for me, but ya it did copy everything that was on the screen so i just Croped the pic and i’m good to go
heres the cropped pic from the video
yea, i know it copies everything, but my prob. was that if i took a screenshot while a movie was playing, and pasted into Paint, the image that appeared in paint would coincide with whatever point the movie was at.
so if i did a screenshot at 1:20, then opened paint and pasted (while the clip was still running), i would get the canvas, but the clip image would keep going with the movie.
if i paused the movie, while i pasted my clip, then saved and/or exited the movie, i would get a blank pic.
kinda odd, cause MSpaint would be showing the movie while i was editing the screenshot.
Windows Movie Maker can take pictures from video clips.
i just paused it where i wanted the pic, hit prt screen then went to paint and hit paste and cropped the image
