UNI filters are foam, they use and a oil based product to catch any particles, they are washable/reusable just like K&N. I use them on quads, just have to make sure the oil soaks in before use or the intake gets coated. UNI is used more with atv’s and offroad vehicles than K&N.
Everyone opens up their car a bit. It depends on the group you’re running with. If it’s all old men, they tend to take the turns slower and slow down before gunning it on the front straight.
Now that I think of it he had mentioned how he had just oiled them. How often would you recommend cleaning them?
On my quad I usually do it about 3-4 times a summer but I also ride in dusty conditions and mud. On a car im not sure, maybe every 4-6 months, or less. Its easy to see the condition of the filter. UNI has a kit that has the cleaner and oil.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a high end setup using foam filters on cars and they’ve always scared me a little, but I’m probably being paranoid.
I agree. K&N seem to breath better but need the pre-filter to catch dust/dirt, uni catches dust/dirt better. Info is just based on peoples reviews for offroad, no idea on real test results. Either way both flow more than a stock paper filter.
Nice, but needs to be lower
this
if i was keeping mine those are the exact wheels i was going to get. so clean, nice oem look. just slam the pig now
Those are CLS offsets, dont lower it any more unless you hate your fenders. Just a heads up
Yea I’m already really close when in sport 2. They would definitely rub if I went any lower. I think they are 285s in the rear.
Looks pretty good nicely done.
Looks good. I liked riding in Steves e55. Nice cars
Slam it so those groceries will be easier to load.
