Worked on the car a bit this past week getting it back in summer mode. Picked up a few goodies finally got around to getting them on the car. New wheels are on order should have them in a few weeks. Cleaned her up and took a few pics today.
What wheels did you go with?
I have some items I ordered over the winter, nothing too exciting. Installed one of them over the weekend. I’ll make a thread in a couple weeks when it is all done.
Toss them right in here along with anyone else that wants to toss up some Summer set ups.
I went with the Forgestar CF5’s in a gunmetal finish. I’m a little nervous about how they will look but I like the gunmetal on black cars.
Here is what they look like. I like them on this C63. I might have to black out my car more.

Thanks guys, Steve I ended up going with 18x8.5 in the front and 18x10 in the rear. Probably should have gone with the 19s but I got a new set of tires at the end of last summer so I’m just going to switch them over.
no way man, 18s are where its at so you can go lowwww. im going with 18x9.5 and 18x11 so i approve even more :tup: cant wait to see it

Went the same route as Scott. Just a few things done. Stock TB grind, plm shorty headers, Eurocharge tune. New intake is going on in a few weeks I’ll take some pics of that if you guys are interested. Feels like a whole new car need to get use to the power.
Still need to grab this intake but this is a pic of it on the car.
Hoping to pick up some HP with these and the S/C should really whine!

Those are the filters on the end. They are a lot less restrictive than the stock air boxes.

Haven’t seen them in person but sure they appear to be foam in the picture. Hope that does a better job at answering your question I apologize.

Yeah, if the weather doesn’t turn to shit I’m planning on it. As far as the twisty’s, you’re gonna think they installed rails in the track. Don’t get too comfy on the straights either. Got a 55 gallon drum if whoop ass with your name on it.
Just saw that post for the glen on 4/22. How is it just following the pace car. Are you allowed to open your car up at all. I could possibly make that a weekend trip and see if a roommate wants to go. He can videotape me pulling away.
